DXL Commands for Detecting Excel File Read Only Status

Does anyone know how to determine whether an Excel File is already opened, (i/e Read Only) via DXL scripting?

In Doors there exists a file status handle. You shall use "stat" in the doors help file to find thoose information. I've no example for this. But this seems to be the way to the solution.
